Who and what shapes how you think? The ideas you allow to play in your head matter! The truth about Jesus matters! We need to protect it! Do not get trapped by empty promises and empty ideas. Jesus is the dividing or deciding line.

Freedom and fulfillment are ultimately found in Jesus! Protect this truth! Jesus is SAVIOR, so we don’t make ourselves the hero of the story… vs.8 We are not the ones who save anything! You cannot save yourself or fix yourself! Rom 1-5 We don’t have the ability to create a new creation. Freedom and fulfillment can only come from Jesus!

Jesus is supreme over everything, so we start our thinking there. Col 1:15 If you want to get to know God then get to know Jesus! Col 2:23 Start your thinking with the truth! He took all the wrath and punishment that we deserve. In feelings of helplessness start with Jesus! Lift Jesus up above you. Are you beginning your day thinking about the truth of Jesus?

Jesus is sufficient for everything, so we rest in that truth! Jesus is more than enough! We have been filled! vs.10 We have the membership! Through Jesus all of His promises apply to my life! Right now today! Rest in those TRUTHS!

APPLICATION:

Protect what goes into my head through my eyes and ears! Fill myself with scripture so that it overflows to everyone around me. Try to use scripture as I go through my day in my thinking and decision making. Think before I speak. Be humble! Remember where I get my fulfillment! Jesus is more than enough!
