DAD'S DAILY BREAD

13 Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness. Rom 6:13.

Such a profound way to look at your sin. It’s like the members of your body will just automatically sin if we are not watching what they’re doing. We were born playing the wrong tune with our instrument and we need to stop and learn a new way to play. Get out of the worldly grove and song that is slowly marching its people to their lonely death. Thank God that He made a way for us to get out! Christ died and broke the bondage of that sin! Christ put to death our old lives so that we could live new with Him today! You can physically feel the difference when you are doing something that is righteous or not. Lord help me to choose righteousness every time! Living righteously not only builds yourself up but it builds up those around you. Be a shining example of Jesus and only use words when necessary.

APPLICATION:

Lord please Help me to listen to the Holy Spirit! Don’t squelch the voice that is always there to guide me. Stay in the Word so that I am always filled with scripture and I will be more likely to choose the righteous route in any situation. Stay humble. I do not deserve anything! Thank you Lord for giving me a better life than I will ever deserve!
