Give!!! Matt 6:21

13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. 18 Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit. James 5: 13-18

God desires and responds to the fervent prayers of His people. Earnest and fervent means to pour yourself out. Give it all you got! Make sure you’re right with God! God hears the prayers of a righteous person! Deal with your sin first! Don’t let your sin hinder your prayers! And ask with the correct intentions! James 4.

God desires our fervent prayers! God is not bothered by our prayers with our constant talking to Him. Jer 33:3/ Ps 50:15/ Ps 145:18 Jesus is God and Jesus knows us and feels our pain! He has went through every temptation and He did it without failure. Col 1:15/ John 11:35 Jesus had experienced all the feelings and effects of a sin broken world. He will meet us with compassion every time! King Jesus hung on the cross for us! He is not immune to suffering. Ps 56:8 He is with us in our suffering!

God responds to our fervent prayers! We are not the only thing that changes when we pray. Ps 50:15/ Ps 34:17 Pray with expectancy! Pray with confidence knowing that God is there and willing. Matt 8 Desperation leads to passion and action! Learn to pray fervently and boldly! Approach the throne of grace boldly! Don’t forget what prayer is. Your talking to the King and He cares! Don’t wait and bring others!! Get connected! God is always there and He is always awake and always there to hold you and listen. So pray and then have the faith to leave it up to Him. Eph 3:20/ Rom 8
