DAD'S DAILY BREAD

4 Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God. 5 For while we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members to bear fruit for death. 6 But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way… Rom 7:4–6

That is the gospel right there in 3 verses! Christ took our sinful bodies to the cross and died for us! So we could be released from the law and could be united with something better! All the fruit we had before Christ is just meaningless. It says we were bearing fruit for death! Being held captive by our sinful passions. But NOW… Jesus came when we were hopeless and gave us a path to Him! He took our sin and gave us holiness! Thank you Jesus!

I no longer want to bear fruit for death!
