DAD'S DAILY BREAD

26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words. 27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Rom 8:26–27

Such good news to hear! You know when your just stuck? Sitting there thinking what am I doing and how did I get here…? It’s so awesome to hear that The Lord has got my back. Even when I’m so lost I don’t even know what words to say, the Spirit is there. He is interceding for me all day long. Even when you feel all alone God is there! Praying words so deep and powerful that all human languages fall short of explaining their meanings. That gives me so much comfort and confidence knowing God is there. And He isn’t there because He has to be… No! It’s because He loves me and wants the best life possible for me on this side of heaven. And it’s good knowing that when I’m praying for things that I don’t need, that God is in the background cleaning up my thoughts.

APPLICATION:

Stay in God’s Word! Keep my mind full of God’s Word. Use the Word to filter everything I do throughout the day. Quit making excuses and change the things in my life that don’t honor God! Be humble! Stay in prayer! Stay thankful!! Thank You Lord for everything you do everyday!!!
